This class is intended for participants who have completed at least 2 years of Cuban salsa classes and have a solid knowledge of basic steps as well as other popular Cuban dances (for more information see the post on Afro Cuban culture).
The objective of the class is to improve the knowledge of salsa, rumba, son and Afro.
This class is intended for participants who are already familiar with basic figures of Cuban salsa (setenta, ochenta y quatro, kentucky etc).
The objective of the class is not only to learn more complex steps, but also to work on the style of the dance by introducing the participants to some elements from other Cuban dances (for more information see the post on Afro Cuban culture).
During the classes, attention will also be given to the music and adaptation of the dance to its specific features.
The objective of the beginners class is to familiarize participants with Cuban salsa and its basic steps.
In a friendly atmosphere, participants will learn simple figures of Cuban salsa to be able to dance the rueda de casino (for more information see the post on Afro Cuban culture). Progressively, by the end of the year, students will also be familiar with some more complex figures and will start to understand the life of a salsero.
By the end of the year, the participants will also be introduced to some other popular Cuban dances (for more information see the post on Afro Cuban culture) and will have the possibility to slowly start to work on their dance style.
This class is also intended for false beginners of salsa. For people who have some experience with salsa.
